Dalma Energy LLC, promoted by the Al Qahtani Investments LLC, UAE acquired the Drilling Business of Aabar Petroleum Investments PJSC as an ongoing business with all assets, contracts, manpower etc. The acquisition was completed in February 2008.
Dalma Energy became a wholly owned subsidiary of Al Qahtani Investments
LLC. Dalma Energy operates through a wholly owned subsidiary in
Oman with branches in Qatar, India and Algeria and operates through
a Joint Venture in Saudi Arabia with a local partner. Dalma Energy
operates and owns 22 land rigs throughout the gulf region, Asia
and North Africa. |
